Bali’s Best Waterfalls

Get an early start for your two-day waterfall adventure. Because one will be more difficult to reach than the other, the most difficult hikes are scheduled for early in the morning.  The lesser-known Leke Leke Waterfall is about a 30-minute drive from Nung Nung. It is a 15-minute easy and beautiful walk through the Bali jungle, crossing rivers by bamboo bridge to a secluded waterfall.

The relatively small waterfall is surrounded by a plethora of colourful flowers and plants, giving this Bali waterfall its own distinct appearance. A ticket to Leke Leke costs 30,000 IDR and is used to fund the area’s upkeep. 

  • Banyumala Twin Falls (Bali)

 Make your way to the cooler Munduk area, which is home to the Banyumala Twin Waterfall. The waterfall is divided into two falls that cascade into a large pool where you can swim and relax. Expect this waterfall to be a little busier, but because of the large area and a second waterfall hidden in the back, you can easily have your own relaxing space.

The drive from Leke Leke is approximately 60 minutes, followed by a 10-minute walk down. Spend the first night of your Bali Waterfall tour in Munduk, a pleasant and laid-back town close to the Banyumala Twin Waterfalls.

  • Sekumpul Waterfall – Bali’s Best Waterfall

Sekumpul Waterfall is arguably Bali’s most spectacular waterfall. Water falls from an 80-meter height into a refreshing natural pool. The relatively long but easy walking trail through the forest leads to a breathtaking panoramic viewpoint. Finally, a 15-minute walk down brings you to the base of the Bali waterfall tour’s most spectacular location. Begin driving from Munduk at 8 a.m., as Sekumpul will be less crowded before noon because it is more difficult to reach and less well-known. Sekumpul’s entrance fee is 250,000 IDR, which includes a guide, a second waterfall, and drinking water. It is expensive but well worth it; however, a guide and a plastic water bottle are not required.

  •   Waterfall at Aling Aling

 Aling  is distinct from the other waterfalls on the waterfall tour in that it features natural water slides and jumping areas. Aling Aling is sacred water and cannot be swum in, but there are numerous other waterfalls down the trail where you can, with a guide. It takes 45 minutes to drive from Sekumpul to Aling Aling. 

  •  Waterfall Git-Git

 Let’s hope you still have enough energy for the tour’s final waterfall. Git Git is a popular waterfall that is easily accessible due to its proximity to the road. Swim in the pools in front of it or take a refreshing shower under it. It is only a 35-minute drive from Aling Aling to Git Git. This waterfall has an entrance fee of 20,000 IDR.
